"You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit..."
John 15:16
As people began to move away from established religion, and church memberships declined, a void was created in the availability of pastoral services to those with no church affiliation. Recognizing the growing demand for independent clergy to provide these services, World Community Ministries was established in 2011.
Our mission and purpose is to provide spiritual leadership and pastoral services to those who have no church home or regular minister, regardless of their personal beliefs or faiths. While we are a Christian ministry, we recognize that not everyone who needs pastoral services shares our personal beliefs. Our objective is not to change that, but only to offer whatever ministerial services may be required. We provide these services to believers and non-believers alike.

A Broken Path To Ministry
I have always believed that, if our hearts and spiritual ears are open, we each receive a "calling" to follow a specific path, ultimately leading to God's purpose for us. My personal journey has been along what could best be described as a broken path; full of twists and turns, ups and downs, highs and lows, darkness and light, and heartbreaks and joys. Throughout this journey, my own callings have been to serve others in times of great distress, despite whatever hardships I might be facing myself. I firmly believe that my personal and professional experiences, my education, and my biblical studies, were God's way of preparing me for His ultimate calling.
These experiences included nearly 20 years in emergency services as a sworn law enforcement officer and volunteer firefighter/EMT, during which I saw first-hand how quickly life can change. Thus, one of my main objectives as a minister has been to provide support and guidance to those who may be going through traumatic, life-altering circumstances. While this remains the foundation of our ministry, the day-to-day heartbeat of our work includes weddings, funerals, baptisms, counseling, and all other types of pastoral services.
We are a full-time ministry and truly try to be "there when you need us."

Our Message
We believe in the existence of a Higher Power.
We believe that every person, by virtue of birth, has the right to live; and that each person has the right to pursue his or her own spiritual path, free from coercion or intimidation by others.
We believe that every person should have unconditional and unhindered access to pastoral services, according to his or her own beliefs.
We believe that working together with people of other faiths and beliefs provides for the mutual benefit of all.
We believe that the tenet of absolute 'denial of self' is not a requirement for a spiritually fulfilling life, and that living wholly and enjoying all of life's gifts honors our Higher Power.

A Minster's Dedication
To this day that is mine, my country's, and my God's, I dedicate my all. My talents, every one, shall be held subject to the sight draft of the emergencies of others. I will enlarge my soul by cultivating love for those from whom I find myself recoiling. No man shall ever feel his color or his caste in my presence, for within my heart of hearts there shall be no consciousness of it.
The man who has fallen shall find me a friend, the woman down, a helper. But more than this, those falling shall have my trust that they may stand again. The cry of every child shall find my heart whether cry of need or of aspiration. Not one of all the nation's "little ones" shall be despised. Cherishing every life of whatever land or race and mindful of hidden struggles in all things I will strive to help and to serve.
No word shall ever pass my lips that hurts another in things of face, form, station, or estate. My own weaknesses, my foibles, and my sins shall chasten speech and deny my pride. My life shall be a dedicated thing. I shall count it desecration to pervert it. The vandal hands of lust and hate and greed shall not be permitted to despoil.
And thus I resolve, not because I am good, but that I want to be; not because I am strong, but that I feel weakness; not that I feel above others, but with all my soul I long to be of humankind, both helped and helper. So do I dedicate my days. So do I set apart my culture. So do I receive but give to others. So do I press humbly into the presence of the sacrificial Son of Man, crying out in eager consecration, "Let me follow Thee, Master," wherever the world still needs ministry, wherever life is still to be given for many.
Help me, Thou whose manger cradle brought democracy to light, to meet in my own worth democracy's final test and to my own great day be true.
